Working Towards a Sustainable Urban Quality of Life: The Dutch response to the Challenge of Global Urbanization
This Dutch "vision statement" calls for an "integrated improvements to education, employment and living conditions." Among a number of factors, it identifies poor people as "key," noting their creativity, experience in organizing, establishing small business and educational facilities.
